As AI and algorithms begin to take over our online music consumption, WOZQ believes now more than ever in the necessity of radio to intentionally connect us all to the music we love so much. Nothing beats listening to the radio and finding new music handpicked by a real human being just for you! As an independent, student-run radio station, WOZQ hopes to embody an alternative to corporate media, providing local communities with diverse music, news, and events that may not otherwise reach mainstream audiences. WOZQ is the oldest historically all women’s college radio station, proof that we've been breaking barriers since 1949. #HERSTORY.... if you don't listen can you even call yourself a feminist??? Really makes you think.
